DocSTAR Lite Viewer
Software
Take your DocSTAR documents
"on the road" with DocSTAR Lite Viewer Software. It
allows a notebook computer or any other PC to import
documents that have been exported from a DocSTAR.
Documents may be transferred using CD-ROM, optical disk,
a network disk, or other medium.
DocSTAR Lite Viewer Software supports all of the
Search, Browse, and Viewing capabilities of DocSTAR. It
requires a PC with Windows 95, 98, or NT and at least 32
MB of memory.
DocSTAR Import 4.0
DocSTAR Import 4.0 Software permits DocSTAR users
to transfer documents, which have been created in almost
any Windows application directly to the DocSTAR without
having to print them on paper. The software can also
easily capture image files from digital copiers, digital
cameras, and other digital sources. Import 4.0 now
handles the import of images and Windows application
documents in one easy to use application.
Files are imported by the Print option from most
Windows applications. You can also import files by
dragging and dropping them onto the DocSTAR icon or from
Windows Explorer by right-clicking and selecting "Import
to DocSTAR".
You
can now also import documents over a WAN or over the
Internet using the optional NetConnect module.
DocSTAR Auto Import
Software
Images from Digital Copiers, Fax
Servers, and other scanners can be captured
automatically by the DocSTAR AutoImport utility program.
It runs in the background, checking for new image files
and transferring them to the DocSTAR Inbox, where they
can be filed, viewed, printed, faxed, and stored.
AutoImport is similar to Image Import, and is compatible
with all of the same file formats. Use Auto Import to
continuously capture files that are created on a regular
basis, and use Image Import to import files on
demand.
DocSTAR Batch
Import
This software is available to
DocSTAR Partners to convert images and index information
from a variety of sources, including other imaging
systems. Ask your local partner about available data
conversion services.
TextBridge Pro
Millenium
TextBridge Pro Millenium
can convert any documents in DocSTAR into editable
files. While the unalterable original remains in
DocSTAR, the converted document can be edited in Office
2000, WordPerfect, FrontPage, or any of various other
applications. It can also output to HTML for publishing
documents on the web. TextBridge Pro Millenium is
capable of recognizing formats, including tables and
images, and retaining these features in the converted
document.
DocSTAR offers a convenient interface to
TextBridge Pro Millenium that makes converting documents
as convenient as printing them. For more information on

Docstar WebView
DocSTAR WebView software enables
documents stored on a host DocSTAR to be viewed from any
computer via the Internet or corporate intranets. It
works with wide-area networks, broadband Internet
services, or even dial-up connections!
Now
you can put documents at the fingertips of your
customers, field employees, other important people, and
even the general public - everywhere, at any time! And
of course you can restrict this access to only those who
really need it.
Docstar NetConnect
DocSTAR NetConnect is an
innovative, optional software module, which lets you
access your host DocSTAR from any location with a
high-speed Internet connection (such as DSL or cable
modem) or over a wide-area network (WAN). It connects
you with critical documents whether you are in your
headquarters facility, a satellite, or on the
road.
